Position Overview

The SCA Americas Tissue division is currently searching for Regional Logistics Manager - Northeast for our facility in South Glens Falls, NY.  Reporting to the Northeast Regional Director, the Regional Logistics Manager - Northeast will be leading and coordinating overall logistics planning and operations functions for the Northeast Region, in support of our internal and external customers. The candidate will be responsible for driving change via appropriate performance metrics that are aligned with Master Planning and Operations. In this position the candidate will be fully supporting our Sales & Operations Planning processes.


Requirements

  • BS or BA is required, preferably with an emphasis in Logistics Management
  • 7-10 years experience in a production planning, transportation planning or logistics management environment.
  • Computer experience essential, to include proficiency with AS400, SAP, MES, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • The candidate needs to possess excellent communication skills and must be able to multi-task effectively and work in an environment of constant interruptions.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment and to perform a variety of duties without direct supervision.
  • APICS certification(s) preferred.
