Overview

We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing - Dispensers & Object Wiping to join SCA Tissue North America. Reporting to the Vice President of Product & Marketing, the Director of Marketing - Dispensers & Object Wiping is accountable for management and profitable growth of Object Wipers, Dispensing systems and adjacent products.   Will be responsible for directing the development and execution of innovative customer solutions and go-to-market strategies that leverage the SCA and Tork brands, the platforms of hygiene and sustainability and are based on sound customer insights and needs.


Main Tasks

  • Support the implementation of SCA North America’s business strategy through development of Object Wiping and Dispenser strategy and tactical business plans for these areas, along with adjacent product opportunities.
  • Deliver insight-based innovation - products, systems and services to market in a timely basis, according to Prime project management methodology.  Secure that projects are delivering against agreed upon KPIs
  • Prioritize development and launch projects in Hygiene product portfolio, providing direction to, and securing support from, Manufacturing, Dispenser and Product Development, other key stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales and strategic Distributors to develop select End Customer segments
  • Optimize product assortment volume and profitability
  • Represent North America Tissue and priorities of Personal Hygiene portfolio within Global Hygiene Category (GHC) work groups and project teams.  Responsible for securing GHC support for NA initiatives
  • Identify and develop new channel opportunities
  • Raise the skill level and capabilities of brand, marketing and portfolio/innovation management within the group
  • Manage and work within cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives
  • Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.


Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS/BBA required. MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of proven product and category management success in related business to business industry.
  • Experience in consumer product and channel management a plus.
  • Product and channel experience. Ideal candidate has in-depth understanding of Tissue industry, channels of distribution and key market segments.
  • B to B and B to C
  • Understands all nuances of distributor
  • Ability to travel to domestic and international locations
