SCA is currently hiring for two Senior Payroll Analysts to join our team at our Cira Center headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Analysts will provide clerical and administrative support for all aspects of payroll operations. Under minimal supervision, the position will assist in payroll functions with primary responsibility for divisional payrolls, including verification of payroll transactions.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS by reviewing information submitted with Change of Status forms (COS) and make corrections on HRIS system (compiles employee data such as direct deposits, W-4’s, voluntary deductions, garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, etc.)
- Perform analytical pre/post audit of payroll before and after the transmission to ADP to ensure compliance with tax agencies as well as company policies, including pre transmission reports and previews
- Generate post payroll reports and review content for accuracy and compliance with other departments
- Assist Payroll Manager in General Ledger (GL) reconciliation
- Balance garnishments using ADP reports and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist Payroll Manager with tax reconciliation in every payroll, and monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes
- Respond in a timely manner to employee questions and requests for information, as well as manual check processing when necessary
- Prepare reconciliation for accounting, including manual checks and payroll adjustments in a distributable items report
- Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5-7 years ADP Payroll Processing and relevant work experience
- 1+ years ADP Enterprise experience, EV4 experience preferred
- Extensive ADP experience in an environment of 2000+ employees in a multi state environment strongly preferred
- ADP Enterprise software, ReportSmith, and MS Excel experience desired
- KRONOS software experience preferred
- Union payroll experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Work involves highly confidential and sensitive information; discretion is essential
- Ability to travel to domestic and international locations
