Overview

Through the direction of the Strategic Account Manager, the End-Customer Account Manager develops new value added business at the end-user level through focused sales efforts intended to assist the Team in achieving its volume and net margin goals with a Strategic Distributor.  This business should focus on selling the entire basket of goods that SCA offers: towel, tissue, napkin, soap and wiper products in Distributor and Tork brand via the Tork Advantage Program.


Main Tasks

  • Prospect, qualify and acquire new end-user business identified by market research they are conducting, Hoover’s customer lists, leads generated through Lets Talk Tork, Trade Shows… these accounts will be approved by the Strategic Account Manager
  • Target existing end-user business for total system or upgrade opportunities
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of SCA products including features, advantages and benefits as compared to competitor’s offerings
  • Gather competitive information and communicate to sales team and Strategic Account Manager.
  • Initiate trial set-ups, arrange for samples and conduct site surveys
  • Coordinate dispenser installations
  • Conduct sales meetings, work trade and food shows and execute sales blitzes
  • Draft new and renewal contracts
  • Submit weekly activity and productivity report to sales team and Strategic Account Manager
  • Submit timely expense reports in support of the weekly activity and productivity report
  • Perform special projects and assist teammates as directed by the Strategic Account Manager
  • Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.


Requirements

  • 4-year college degree, preferably in sales or marketing
  • One to three years of sales experience.
  • Prefer experience abundant in prospecting, cold-calling and closing new business.
  • Goal-oriented with a hunter mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
