Overview

SCA Personal Care North America is seeking a National Clinical Director. The National Clinical Director is a team oriented, independent, self-starter with exceptional organization and relationship building skills. Must understand Long Term Care customer needs to ensure that they clearly recognize a measurable value to our incontinence products and programs. The National Clinical Director will support national and regional sales and maintain business across the U.S.


Main Tasks

  • Develop and coordinate customized clinical service protocols for all National and Regional Account customers
  • Provide necessary leadership to the Clinical Managers regarding the service needs of our corporate customers.
  • Support Regional Vice Presidents to develop the Clinical Managers’ clinical capabilities
  • Establish key relationships with clinical leaders in our national chain headquarters.
  • Partner with the National Account Directors and Corporate Account Managers at each national and/or regional account, existing and potential, establishing SCA protocols based on the requirements of the customer.
  • Assist in the prospecting, sales and management process of each national/regional account
  • Lead, coach & develop the RVPs and Clinical Managers to develop relationships and grow our national account business within their areas and regions.
  • Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.  Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in health care sales function
  • Demonstrated ability to design customized programs for national and regional customers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large accounts including multi-facility chains
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Marketing to provide support via campaigns, etc.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and service programs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with senior clinical managers, at a national level
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Proven ability to implement large account management strategies
  • Clear understanding of clinical and incontinence regulations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical issues
  • Clear understanding of all SCA tools, programs and service offerings
  • Sales and marketing integration capability
  • Strong follow up, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop a networking strategy, as well as maintain corporate contacts
  • Ability to maintain current nursing license
  • Strong communication skills; including presentations skills
  • Strong business acumen and account management skills
  • Live in the West / Midwest U.S. to facilitate needed travel (South/Southwest acceptable).
