General

European Marketing Manager is responsible for driving brand health by ensuring flow of new product news in line with region needs for Xbrand in Europe.


Main Tasks

Global Product Development Programs (PDP)
  • Identify European consumer insight to feed in to global PDP
  • Represent Europe on selected global PDP
European Product Launch Programs (PLP)
  • Responsibility to develop and approve business cases for Europe to deliver on 3 year business plan. Once approved drive implementation and lead the launch process with focus on coming 24 months.
  • Develop new news (first time new concepts & often together with lead region), product and market development; ensure alignment with European markets and meeting their needs.
  • Develop briefing and drive development of optimal pack design according to brand guidelines and in conjunction with Product Supply 
  • Ensure all deliverables regarding market & product are included in PLP process and support the launch activation towards local markets
  • Approval of local market business case; of which execution( design/communicaiton/4P’s) will be locally lead; support the implementation
  • Collect best practice, follow up on launch tracking and share ‘lessons learned’ with other regions/markets
Best Practice
  • Collect best practice, follow up on campaign tracking and effectiveness and share ‘lessons learned’ with other regions/markets and define corrective actions for short and medium term
  • Lead Brand execution meeting to share best practice and ensure smooth flow of latest status of initiatives to regions


General Skills

  • 5+ years FMCG commercial experience, 3+ years Local market Senior commercial FMCG marketing experience. Category experience an advantage but not essential.
  • Broad skill background across sales, marketing and trade marketing, B2C 
  • Strategic agility and out of the box thinking
  • Ability to quickly understand different markets, cultures and diversity
  • Ability to participate, build and motivate multifunctional teams
  • Highly developed analytical skills and financial understanding
  • Ability to set priorities, action and results-oriented
  • Effective and inspiring communicator
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all key groups, ELT, Regional and Local market management, category and supply chain
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel
