We are a multinational organisation and a leading manufacturer of branded disposable baby and adult diapers and feminine hygiene products across the Southeast Asia region. Our global headquarters is in Stockholm, Sweden and our Southeast Asia regional hub is in Section 28, Shah Alam, Malaysia. As part of our continuing expansion, we are seeking a highly-motivated, suitably-qualified and team-driven individual to fill the following position to be based at our plant / office site located in Section 28, Shah Alam:

Establish new business development opportunities.

Establish clear directions and expectations with distributors and internal stakeholders.

Ensure distribution target achievement as well as promotional support-to-trade are executed according to plans in order to enhance relationships and achieve forecasted numbers/ Business Plans.

Develop and manage the processes and procedures to support the distribution partner to ensure execution of the 4 key areas of sales at retail.

Assist distribution partners with co-ordination of marketing activities/trade shows in their respective territories ensuring that SCA brands have full visibility whilst ensuring Brand guidelines are maintained.

Produce and maintain stock and sales reports for all distribution partners and ensure all revenue opportunities are exploited and issues highlighted.

Continuously raise the level of retail channel management & distribution extension with our distribution partner.

Gain support, trust and confidence of the distribution/retail partner ensuring development is visible, measurable and effective in the interests of SCA. Establish, maintain and manage key relationships with key retailers.

Establish, reinforce and enhance specific business terms such as suitable trading terms, account marketing activity, overall stock control.

Plan the business to enable the establishment of suitable credit limits to cover all periods particularly peak season by working with Finance/Credit Control Department.

Accountable for the Manpower Planning Process in meeting the needs of the current and future requirements of growth markets.

Develop annual strategic channel business plan for input into the sales BP planning processes.

Grow the overall SCA market share within given territories and gain share of mind of distributor partners.

Responsible for planning the Annual Business Plan which includes Sales Budget and Marketing budget (A&P) within given territories and ensuring distributors partners in each market stay within budgetary constraints.
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Possess at least 7 years’ Sales/Trade Marketing experience in FMCG industry (preferably with MNC companies) with minimum 5 years in management.
- Good, in-depth and practical understanding of the fundamentals of sales & marketing operations and business processes.
- Previous experience working with major FMCG distributors or as principal representative handling distributors and fully understand their “modus operandi.”
- Should be analytical and resourceful, with strong initiative and follow-through.
- Should be strong in business management and have effective teamwork with all parties concerned.
- Good communication and listening skills, with knowledge in selling processes.
