Overview

We are a multinational organisation and a leading manufacturer of branded disposable baby and adult diapers and feminine hygiene products across the Southeast Asia region. Our global headquarters is in Stockholm, Sweden and our Southeast Asia regional hub is in Section 28, Shah Alam, Malaysia. As part of our continuing expansion, we are seeking a highly-motivated, suitably-qualified and team-driven individual to fill the following position to be based at our plant / office site located at Section 28, Shah Alam: 


Responsibilities

  • Assist in putting together strategic business plans for growth and expansion projects in the Central and South Asia region by collating relevant information. This involves liaising and working with relevant departments to obtain and put together information for situation analysis, market, brand and product strategies formation;
  • Coordinate with relevant cross functional departments to develop and deliver support needed to materialize strategic business plans;
  • Ensure timely collation and organization of information from all stakeholders in support of strategic analysis process;
  • Ensure timely delivery of respective reports from Research & Development (R&D), Business Intelligence (BI) and local commercial teams i.e. product analysis report, research report, growth market updates, channel and price reports etc.;
  • Project management;
  • Research and prepare information for consumer analysis, situation analysis, competitor analysis and brand competitive analysis;
  • Propose market segmentation (price, consumer) based on segmentation guidelines provided for new categories;
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.


Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Possess at least 2-5 years’ work experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)/research/advertising industry, in the area of consumer marketing e.g. brand product management, research or strategic planning;
  • Independent fast learner and able to work with minimal supervision;
  • Strong planner with the ability to multi-task;
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of staff;
  • Fluent and conversant in English.
