SCA is seeking an Operational Excellence (OE) Master Coach to provide best practice methodologies to optimize SCA Hygiene’s way of working globally. Reporting to the Director, Operational Excellence –Technology Global Hygiene Category (GHC), the Operational Excellence (OE) Master Coach will be guiding each division in identifying areas of improvement and supporting the development of their own roadmap to improve their business through Operational excellence principles. Will be responsible for making use of internal / external operational excellence experience, the SCA model, and partners with line leadership to craft deployment of Operational Excellence practices based on the business group priorities. Must be able to facilitate collaboration and build transparency among the Americas different Divisions especially in manufacturing sites (best practices).
Operational Excellence is a department within the Global Hygiene Category – Technology. The mission is ‘To provide best practice methodologies to optimize SCA Hygiene’s way of working globally enabling Business groups to create more profit and growth’. An Operational Excellence model for the Supply Chain has been developed in cooperation with the Business Groups taking into account today’s best practices such as Lean/Six Sigma, 20 keys, Team Based Work Systems (TBWS) and Integrated Work Systems (IWS).
In order to coach the deployment in the Americas in an efficient way we need to strengthen the Global Operational Excellence team with an Operational Excellence Master Coach.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide consultative skills to the manufacturing facilities across Americas
- Ability to move between facilities, divisions, and business groups and understand the differences
- Help forge connections and synergies between the facilities, divisions and business groups whenever possible
- Coach in the implementation of the OE model for manufacturing
- Champion way of working: train/coach Project Managers/Director/VP
- Develop deployment roadmaps based on best practice for Americas
- Coach OE coaches and Black Belts(BB’s) in Americas
- Create network of OE coaches and BB’s in Americas
- Identify and share best practices across Americas
- Provide continuous support to global OE Master Coaches according to business demands (OE manufacturing model, Product Life Management(PLM), Complaints, Design for Six Sigma(DfSS))
- Coordinate Manufacturing Assessment Team(MAT) Assessments/Self assessments in Americas
- Train and coach Assessment teams
- Training support to SCA programs
- Take part of global OE networks
- Ability to travel to domestic and international locations (70-80%)
- Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary
- College degree
- Engineering degree
- Masters preferred
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in similar manufacturing work environment
- Six Sigma Black Belt highly preferred or must be supplemented by GHCOPX Documented skills, OE Master Coach level on “Total Work Systems” such as Six Sigma/Lean/20 Keys/Team Based Work Systems
- Fluent in English. Bilingual preferred (French and/or Spanish)
