Overview

We are a multinational organisation and a leading manufacturer of branded disposable baby and adult diapers and feminine hygiene products across the Southeast Asia region. Our global headquarters is in Stockholm, Sweden and our Southeast Asia regional hub is in Section 28, Shah Alam, Malaysia. As part of our continuing expansion, we are seeking a highly-motivated, suitably-qualified and team-driven individual to fill the following position to be based at our plant / office site located in Section 23, Shah Alam: 


Responsibilities

  • Key driving role in all plant Kaizen initiatives
  • Responsible to initiate and perform activities in root cause analysis of product quality consistency issues and equipment run-ability, finding and executing permanent solutions to avoid recurrence of issues
  • This duty includes designing, testing and implementing preventive and predictive action systems at the production lines
  • Responsible to initiate and perform activities that optimize raw material usage at the production lines
  • Responsible to initiate and perform continuous improvement activities in the area of process engineering, raw material utilization, scrap reduction, changeovers and any other activities that relate to departmental target
  • High level of expertise in all manufacturing processes
  • Coaching machine teams in process knowledge and problem solving skills


Requirements

  • Possess an Engineering degree, ideally majoring in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
  • Preferably 3-5 years working experience in a similar capacity as a Process Engineer in an FMCG / Manufacturing environment
  • Must have working exposure in trouble-shooting process issues in production operations
    Familiar with SPC, 7-QC tools, Six Sigma, DMAIC and/or Kaizen
  • Six Sigma Green Belt holder is an advantage
  • Must have root cause analysis skills and problem-solving skills
  • Must have hands-on working experience in process control, process optimization
  • Working knowledge in statistics is an added advantage
  • Must be a strong team player, with leadership ability to lead and focus on daily results
